Pre-Mother’s Day, I did a little gift guide for Mom’s. But, the best gifts that I found - I couldn’t share - because I was trying to decide on what to do for my own wonderful Mother & Mother-In-Law and since they are avid EC readers, I didn’t want to ruin the surprise. 

For the past several months I have been swooning over Jess LC’s jewels. I love the look of each and every piece. I love her dedication to the line, her personal connection to the customers and her blog (which I’ll touch more on in a minute). Then….she re-vamped the website and logo and did an amazing promo video with Tieka from Selective Potential as the model. And that is when I knew, this would be where I choose the Mother’s Day gifts.

So many options! My Mom loves casual, throw it on with jeans and a tee, simplistic feeling jewels, I thought this would be great. And, by the way, the stone is called “shore”, and if there is one thing my Mom likes, it is when the name somehow refers back to her life at the Jersey Shore, so yeah! Maybe for your Birthday, Ma!

Initially, I thought of this one for my MIL. She love baubles and corals and loves to dress up, and is willing to do more bold pieces, so it seemed fitting.

But in the end, I chose this. I went with this because it fits both of their styles. It’s will go with everything from jeans & tees to work wear to a summer dress or khaki’s. It’s a bangle! And both of these lovely ladies like a bangle, plus it’s from Jess’s Division Collection, which I think is just divine and in the end, they did too!

And, I should mention, none of these pieces are above $60 though I understand it was all packaged up like it cost much more (much appreciated Jess!!). I was also impressed in dealing with Jess. She sent a follow up note to me right away to see if these were gifts since they went to separate addresses and was also interested in feedback. Those little touches really go a long way, especially since it was an on-line transaction. I know I’ll be back, and when I do, I’m going after this piece! I’ve been wearing a lot of navy lately and a ton of stripes, and I think this would just make that look POP!

She offers insight based on her personal experiences, allows other gals who inspire her to inspire you and every Friday does an “End of Week Exfoliation”. It is a culmination of all things that I truly believe to be true. 

You also might want to check out Tieka at Selective Potential. This gal also has an inspiring story, great style and a simply sweet demeanor. Her photos are always taken in a place that seems to compliment her outfit perfectly and this just adds to the delight!
