Saturday in NY was beautiful. In the morning we finished *FINALLY* BSG! I can’t believe we made it all the way to the end, phew. That was some heavy TV, but all in all, it was really awesome! Then we started the rest of our day. It was warm and relatively sunny and we enjoyed a Park Slope & Carroll Gardens stroll. We love to just walk around, enjoy a coffee on the go and check out all of the shops.

Then we met a friend out in TriBeCa for birthday cocktails at Terroir on Harrison. A lovely little wine bar, that much to my delight was serving up my favorite brew on tap as well (Kelso - Nut Brown). Kelso is a local Brooklyn Brewery. The Nut Brown is a darker brew, but nutty, warm and super delicious!

The late evening light outside and in the APT was working against us, so we didn’t get any great full length shots, but I’m rocking the J Brand skinnies on the bottom. I did, however, manage to get a close up shot of the shoes. These CL’s are my wedding day shoes. Hot pink shoes on a bride, yes I did!

We also managed to get a good one of the necklace. This sparkly J Crew number was a birthday gift from Dan. I absolutely love it. It is everything I love! Sparkly, a little gold, pink beads and a little edge to boot!

The smaller necklace is one I wear nearly every day. There are three individual discs that say “I”, “Love” “Life”. Just a little reminder for me as I’m running amuck in the city……it helps to keep calm!!! The designer has a shop in Soho and always attaches a small bit of turquoise to each piece as well…..I really like that sentiment and consistency.

Tomorrow will be Breton Stripes Day in the blogging world. This was an idea by Jess of What I Wore & I’m hoping to get back tonight in enough time to get some stripe pics taken!!
