As you all know, I have been working with friends on a fundraiser for IMF. Our event is tonight and we are really excited about the whole thing. We have put together some awesome goodie bags and our auction items are just perfect. Gotham Magazine has agreed to cover the event and donated the latest issue for our goodie bags.

Timing worked in our favor and we managed to score an invite to the annual Gotham Gala! It was a lovely event and we enjoyed getting dressed up, chatting over champagne and seeing Alicia Keys!! We were actually pretty close to her, though we nearly got trampled by her entourage as they were leaving. I did get one blurry Iphone pic to share.

I also managed to take a few pics of my outfit here at the APT to share. The first pic is a little blurry but I liked the image.

Inspiration: I don’t have a ton of evening dresses, so I chose my favorite and went from there. I wanted to make it a mix of sweet (with the polka dot tights) and sassy (the leopard printed heels).

**This dress has a great fit and Kate did it again this spring in a summer strip which I think is fab. You can get one here for $355.**

Tights: American Apparell - Full disclosure = I bought these yesterday & while I was in AA, I fell for a skirt. I cheated and we are only 16 days in. Maybe I should penalize myself a week extension on the challenge per cheat :-)
