So, I’ve mentioned The Perfect Closet on here before. It’s my little venture with Donna & we are so ready for fall. We have some great events planned and are loving everything we are seeing out in the shops so far!

We put together a slide show on some of our favorite fall trends on our site and I thought I’d share a little post of those trends on here as well. I have a little more flexibility of what and how I share on this format so I’ll be showing a Lust & Must for the trends we are loving this fall season!

1. Faux Fur Vests - Though I think the MUST here is pretty sweet, I am totally smitten with the LUST. We took a look at this baby in person and it is beautiful! I think the gray/white combination and the leather accents make this a really rich piece for fall!

2. Leather Bomber Jacket - I’ve been coveting this exact style of jacket for several years and I think both pieces are stunning! Unfortunately with my growing belly, I don’t think I personally can include this on my shopping list. But for those of you out there in need of a new leather jacket……these buttery duds are awesome!The LUST is via JCrew & the MUST is Mackage.

3. The Skinny Cord - We knew it was coming and boy do we like it. Again, you really can’t go wrong with either option. I own the same cut of the MUST in a black pant & a jean and they look great on! The LUST is super soft and fit like a glove!

4. Animal Print - Always a classic in my eyes especially when done right! There is only one option in this category because we just loved this piece! Perfect for an occasion, a night out on the town or a hot date! Love, love, LOVE!

5. Cozy Knits - There is only one option in this category too because this sweater is perfect. I can picture it 100 ways and I think my growing belly will fit just fine. Ahhh, Twinkle, you’ve done it again!!

6. Leggings with Details - Because lucky for us all, leggings are still a hot trend! But, what could be better than adding a little jazz to your leggings? Nothing, I say! Plain leggings can read boring, but not these guys, no way!! While I’d like to be the kind of gal who could rock some leather leggings, I’m just not - though these are particularly HOT. So my choice is the MUST on this item - a touch of suede and an exposed zipper? Don’t mind if I do! Can I also add that I am loving that Madwell is now available on-line? I hear the Angles singing!

7. Military Inspired Outerwear - Warm, fuzzy, heather grey. Love them both but I love the extra large collar and length of the LUST here! The MUST is short & sweet!

8. Plaid Blazers - Every time this trend rolls around I’m on board. I love this look both preppy and re-mixed for a little rock and roll. Both blazers are to die for!

9. Cognac Handbag - This is another of my all time favorites. I love the color, the buttery leather and the oversized tote (I live in NY, I carry my life in my handbag!). These are both stunning and paired with the plaid blazer….ah, yeah, love it!

10. The Clog Boot - This boot is a Lust & Must all at once. Love the leather, love the color, love that they are comfortable (yeah, we took them out for a test drive) and love the clog style!

11. The Army Jacket - I just love this look for fall. This always looks fresh to me and I can’t get enough of it! Lust or Must this look is a GO!
